The BSGR is a joint venture (tax partnership) between het hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland (Rijnland District Water Board) and six Dutch municipalities: Gouda, Leiden, Oegstgeest, Voorschoten, Wassenaar and Zoeterwoude.
Since January 2011, BSGR has been housed in the “Noorderschans” building in Leiden. This building has been designed by Van Egmond Totaal Architectuur and commissioned by BAM Utiliteitsbouw (non-residential construction). The building’s architecture can be described as comtemporary with a classic façade. The different areas are spread over three floors.
Flexability is of great concern when developnig housing and working environments. This flexibility is important because the organisation and its working processes are still in development.
In addition Vepa has supplied a lot of custom-made furniture.
